9 Days / 8 Nights
Tour Overview
The 9 Days Great Serengeti Migration Safari offers an extensive exploration of northern Tanzania’s wildlife regions while focusing on the famous Great Wildebeest Migration in the Serengeti ecosystem.
Each year more than a million wildebeest, accompanied by zebras and gazelles, move across the Serengeti plains following seasonal rainfall and fresh grazing. This annual movement forms one of the most remarkable wildlife events in the world and attracts predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and crocodiles.
This safari connects several major destinations in northern Tanzania. Tarangire National Park is known for its large elephant populations and baobab landscapes. Lake Manyara National Park offers forest habitats and diverse birdlife. Serengeti National Park hosts the Great Migration and vast predator populations. The journey also includes the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich volcanic calderas, and Lake Eyasi where cultural experiences with local communities provide insight into traditional ways of life.
Travel is conducted in a private 4×4 safari vehicle with an experienced guide who tracks wildlife movement and provides interpretation of the region’s ecosystems.
