8 Days Great Serengeti Migration Safari
Duration
Overview
The 8 Days Great Serengeti Migration Safari offers a comprehensive exploration of northern Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destinations while focusing on the Great Wildebeest Migration in the Serengeti ecosystem.
Each year millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move across the Serengeti plains following seasonal rains and fresh grazing. This movement forms one of the most remarkable wildlife events on the planet. During migration periods, predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and crocodiles gather near the herds, creating dramatic wildlife interactions.
This safari combines four major destinations in northern Tanzania. Tarangire National Park is known for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Lake Manyara National Park offers diverse habitats and rich birdlife. Serengeti National Park hosts the Great Migration and vast predator populations. The journey concludes at the Ngorongoro Crater, a wildlife-rich volcanic caldera with one of the highest animal concentrations in Africa.
Travel takes place in a private 4×4 safari vehicle with an experienced guide who tracks wildlife movement and provides insight into the region’s ecosystems.
