Tour Plan

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you are met by your private safari guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. This first day is designed for rest after your international flight. Depending on arrival time, you may relax at the lodge, enjoy views of Mount Meru, or take a short walk around the property. In the evening, your guide provides an overview of the safari journey ahead, including destinations and travel flow. Overnight in Arusha, allowing you to settle in comfortably before the safari begins.

Spend a relaxed day in Arusha to ease into the journey. This day allows time to recover from travel and enjoy the calm surroundings. You may relax at the lodge, explore the gardens, or take light walks nearby. Arusha’s cooler climate and scenic setting provide a comfortable introduction to northern Tanzania. This slower-paced day ensures you are well-rested before heading into the national parks. Overnight in Arusha.

After breakfast, depart for Arusha National Park, known for its varied landscapes and scenic beauty. The park features forests, open grasslands, and crater lakes, with Mount Meru forming a dramatic backdrop. During the game drive, you may encounter giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and black-and-white colobus monkeys. Birdlife is abundant around the Momella Lakes. After the safari, return to your lodge in Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Today is kept flexible, allowing you to relax at the lodge or take part in a light cultural visit in or around Arusha. You may choose to enjoy the lodge facilities, explore local markets, or learn about daily life in nearby communities. This day balances the safari schedule and provides insight into local culture without rushing. Overnight in Arusha.

Travel south to Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds. The Tarangire River attracts wildlife throughout the year, creating excellent game-viewing opportunities. During the game drive, you may see elephants, wildebeest, giraffes, and a wide range of bird species. The open landscapes and quieter atmosphere make Tarangire a rewarding safari destination. Continue to your lodge or tented camp near the park for dinner and overnight.

Depart Tarangire and journey toward Serengeti National Park, passing through changing landscapes and rural areas. As you enter the Serengeti, the scenery opens into vast plains teeming with wildlife. Enjoy an en-route game drive as sightings become more frequent. The central Serengeti is known for its high concentration of predators and plains game. Arrive at your camp in time to relax before dinner. Overnight in the Serengeti.

Spend a full day exploring Serengeti National Park on extended game drives. Morning and afternoon safaris offer opportunities to observe lions, cheetahs, leopards, and large herds of herbivores. Your guide adjusts the day’s route based on wildlife activity and seasonal movements. The open plains and changing light create classic safari scenes throughout the day. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive inside this unique volcanic caldera. The crater floor supports a dense population of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and endangered black rhinos. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before ascending to the rim. Overnight at your lodge in the Ngorongoro area.

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to your beach resort. The remainder of the day is free to relax after the safari adventure. Enjoy the beach, ocean views, or simply rest in a tropical setting. Overnight at your Zanzibar beach resort.

Enjoy a full day at leisure in Zanzibar. Spend time on white-sand beaches, swim in the warm Indian Ocean, or relax at the resort. Optional activities such as snorkeling or light coastal excursions can be arranged locally. The day is intentionally unstructured, allowing you to enjoy island life at your own pace. Overnight at your Zanzibar hotel.

Another relaxed day on the island, giving you the freedom to explore or rest as you prefer. You may enjoy quiet beach time, explore nearby areas independently, or simply unwind by the ocean. Zanzibar’s laid-back rhythm makes it easy to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. Overnight at your beach resort.

After breakfast on the final day, transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your outbound international flight. This marks the end of your Tanzania safari and Zanzibar holiday, combining wildlife exploration with coastal relaxation in a single, well-balanced journey.
